On the feast of the Protection of the Mother of God (Pokrov) in
October 2018, a petition containing 200+ signatures was presented to
Abp. Peter in Chicago by local residents requesting that a Russian
parish be established in Indianapolis. On the same feast in 2019, Fr.
Gabriel Monforte was given a blessing and antimins to start organizing a
mission for those who requested a parish, as well as others who desire a
Russian parish.
- This is going to be a new church in Indianapolis or area.

- We are in the stage of organizing the first meeting with our Archbishop.
