On Saturday June 6, 2020, the day before Pentecost (Trinity Sunday), we gathered for the first
time in prayer as a parish community and served a Panikhida for all of
our departed loved ones at the cemetery Chapel/Shrine of the
Resurrection in Oaklawn Memorial Garden. Among those we remembered included those who have recently departed as a result of Covid-19. The weather was cooperative and beautiful. After the Panikhida, we met and discussed plans on how to move forward with the mission parish.
