After celebrating festal services for the Annunciation and Lazarus Saturday, the cycle of services continued with Vigil and Liturgy for Palm Sunday, with palms and pussy willows being blessed and distributed at the Vigil. The services were once again enriched with visiting faithful who assisted with the reading and singing. Following the Divine Liturgy, all of our parishioners and guests stayed and helped pitch-in for a festal fish luncheon, the first festive meal we shared in place of our usual coffee hour.
In an act of fraternal benevolence, Fr. John Miller and the parish of Joy of All Who Sorrow in downtown Indianapolis donated an icon of Christ the Bridegroom to our mission, just in time for Passion Week and Bridegroom Matins. Many thanks to Fr. John and his parishioners, and may God reward their generosity!
